Success always starts with failure.

Success is not final,
Failure is not fatal,
It is the courage to continue that counts.

-Winston Churchill

Success comes through rapidly fixing our mistakes rather than getting things right first time. It seems to be the hardest thing in the world to admit we’ve made a mistake and try to put it right. It requires you to challenge a status quo of your own making.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Winston Churchill

Leaders are born, not created.

Leadership is the art of getting target work done from your team.

In Peter Drucker's words, " Management is doing things right, Leadership is doing right things."

A leader lives to lead. A good leader doesn't take credit of the job, but passes to his team. He sets direction for his team to create new marvels.

A good leader always invests time in his personal development. He creates inspiring vision of the future, motivates and inspires people to engage with that vision, coaches and builds the team to enable the delivery of the vision.

Formal Education Vs. Self Education

Formal Education will make you a living. Self Education will make you a fortune.

-Jim Rohn

This quote holds true. The life begins, when schooling ends. While Formal Education is necessary, Self  Education is must. Self education applies potential difference of knowledge across the brain, from where positive thoughts sprout out.

So read good books to develop new hobbies and skills. You must develop insatiable attraction for self development.

Self Learning is not at all easy. It needs a lot of motivation and discipline.

If you have that fire, there are a lot of free good sites, from where you can educate yourself. Some of them are Coursera, Khan Academy, Open Courseware, Alison, MIT Opencourseware to name a few.

Rushing through life.

We run non-stop throughout the clock, constantly planning, scheduling & multi-tasking our jobs. Still we feel that the time is not enough. We constantly keep on rushing from one job to another job, while checking off our "to-do list". But this rushing through the time elevates our stress levels and impacts adversely on our health.

Do we ever considered to slow down & de-stress life by enjoying the moments. We can prioritize our tasks into important and urgent quadrants. Sometimes slowing down can help us find more time. We have also learnt in our childhood that slow and steady always wins the race.

Slowing down can help us find more time.
